When Jorden Burt made the strategic decision to relocate their Simsbury office to Hartford, CHK Architects welcomed the opportunity to support them in designing a more efficient and effective corporate workplace.
CHK worked with their local team to develop a detailed program outlining their requirements for the relocation. Over the course of several weeks, we toured three different buildings with them and provided Jorden Burt with multiple Test-Fits for their consideration.
During lease negotiations with the owners of the One State Street Building, Jorden Burt was acquired by Carlton Fields and the project was placed on hold. When the project was restarted, our team conducted an RFP process to secure the services of a qualified Construction Manager. As a result of that process, the PAC Group was brought on board. Their new space on the 18th floor of the One State Street Building was designed to take full advantage of the commanding views of the Connecticut River.
The Carlton Fields Jorden Burt space provides a modern office environment that would impress their guests and visitors while providing a variety of meeting and collaborative spaces for both internal and client meetings.
