Sts. Cyril and Methodius LOCATION New York, NY SIZE 12,400 square feet
After an extensive exterior restoration in 2010, the parish of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Croatian Church embarked on an interior restoration of this historic church. Unfortunately, past interior work on this church was not true to it’s original historical past and significance. DCAK-MSA, working closely with the parish, developed a color scheme which represented the true historical past of this congregation. After restoration of damaged historic plaster on lath, colors were refreshed, new color medallions and borders were re-introduced, artwork was restored, marble was cleaned and new period lighting was installed.
